Karel's production facilities are located in Ayas Industrial Zone of Ankara, Turkey. The site is situated on 20,000 sq.meters of which 19,000 sq meters is closed space.
The manufacturing activities consist of Production Planning & Control, Purchasing and Production Departments. The manufacturing chain that lies between suppliers and customers is supervised via the ERP system integrated to the company network.

The insertion and test machines of latest technology are employed in the production line which is under continuous development and assessment. Automatic insertion is based on axial, radial and SMD technologies. In-circuit testers and functional testers are used for testing/verification.
Total automated component insertion rate is 300.000 components per hour. The quality and reliability of the production is increased by the full automated conformal coating which is done to protect the electronic boards from environmental influences, by heat test cabins and vibration test devices. |
