Thus to have a strong R&D Center has been a major objective and asset for Karel from the very beginning. Thanks to its fully qualified Research & Development Center, Karel does not have any technological dependence for the licence and know-how of the products in its portfolio.
In the long run, Karel's competitive edge depends on its capability and ability to develop new technologies; competence in getting acquainted with new technologies; transforming and integrating them sucessfully in its products/solutions .
Karel allocates approximetly 10 % investment of the turnover every year in research and development activities. With its strong work force of 130 people including 103 competent engineers equipped with modern devices, Karel R&D Center has the power to generate and verify any electronic design in the sector of Telecommunications and Industrial Electronics.
Karel R&D Center also supports to the design of electronic boards produced by Aselsan and Arcelik, which are the biggest manufacturers of military equipments and household appliances in Turkey, respectively.
Karel R&D Center is located in Cyberpark, Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey.
